AstLinux - Introduction

AstLinux is a custom Linux distribution centered around Asterisk, the Open Source PBX. Although Asterisk remains the core focus, other VoIP applications such as OpenSER are also available. AstLinux has many features that make it ideal for embedded and commercial Asterisk based solutions.

0.6.2 Released!

Updates include new versions of Zaptel, Asterisk-gui, the AstLinux web interface and several more.

AstLinux 0.4.8 Released!

Hello everyone, AstLinux 0.4.8 has been released.

This is a minor update to Asterisk 1.2.24 and Zaptel 1.2.19.

The latest version of Zaptel has not been included because we have been working on getting the soon to be 0.5 releases ready.  As always, AstLinux 0.4.8 can be found on the SourceForge project page.

AstLinux 0.4.7 Released!

Hello everyone. I have just released AstLinux 0.4.7 with Asterisk 1.2.22 and Zaptel 1.2.19. This update fixes several security problems that have been discovered with Asterisk.

AstLinux 0.4.6.1 Released!

AstLinux 0.4.6.1 has been released!

This release of AstLinux updates the included version of Asterisk to 1.2.21.1. You can read more about this update to Asterisk here.
