µTorrent 1.6 RC1.
La versión 1.6 RC1 del popular cliente de redes Bittorrent acaba de ser liberada.

La versión 1.7.3 4470. del popular cliente de redes Bittorrent acaba de ser liberada.

µTorrent es un cliente de Bittorrent diseñado para ser eficiente, respetuoso con el consumo de espacio, CPU y memoria.

Para muchos el mejor cliente para Windows, recordaros que hace relativamente poco tiempo fue adquirido por el mismísimo BitTorrent.

Nueva versión de Bitcomet, la 0.98a, el cliente torrent para Windows, que en esta versión trae mejoras de interfaz de usuario, y alguna que otra correción de errores.

Azureus 2.4.0.3 beta 10
Nueva versión, la 2.4.0.3 beta 10, de Azureus, un estupendo cliente que está intentando descentralizar el protocolo BitTorrent, el rey de las redes de pares.



Programado íntegramente en Java, Azureus permite múltiples descargas de archivos ".torrent".



A destacar la posibilidad de poner archivos en cola, prioridad para sistemas (en .torrent y archivos), opciones de inicio, detención y resume rápido, y además ofrece acceso instantáneo a numerosas partes de información de tus "*.torrent".



Por otro lado Azureus optimiza las limitaciones de nuestro ancho de banda evitndo la saturación de la cadena de uploads, indicando la cantidad máxima de personas simultáneas a las que les subiremos el archivo.



Finalmente destacar las nuevas mejoras incluidas a partir de la versión 2.3.0.0, destinadas a descentralizar el protocolo.

Aún no es oficial, pero ya está disponible una nueva versión de BitTorrent, la 4.3.2. beta de este programa de descarga distribuida.

Una de las aplicaciones a las que hay que prestarle renovada atención ya que su popularidad va en aumento exponencial y abarca todo tipo de contenidos.

Lo que empezó siendo una manera eficaz de distribuir grandes contenidos con pocos recursos se esta transformando en una aplicación P2P más (aunque no encaja exactamente en la descripción) por la que circulan una ingente cantidad de datos.

Quizás no se trate de la versión con el entorno más amigable, pero es la que va marcando el paso al resto de aplicaciones compatibles bittorrent.
